About the role
Project Type: Live-Action Interactive Movie Game (FMV) Genre: Sci-Fi Mystery / Urban Drama Location: Bangkok, Thailand Estimated Shooting Schedule: October – December 2026 (approx. 60 days) Role Objective: We are looking for professional actors with strong screen presence and exceptional emotional expression. Due to the unique nature of FMV games, actors must not only deliver nuanced, film-grade performances, but also seamlessly shift across multiple emotional states and decision branches within the same scene to create a deeply immersive, non-linear interactive experience for players.
Responsibilities
Script Comprehension & Branching Performance: Deeply understand interactive script logic, grasping character motives and emotional arcs across various branching paths and multiple endings to accurately deliver layered emotional progression. On-Set Performance Execution: Complete on-set shooting under the director’s guidance, including first-person POV interactive shots, QTE (Quick Time Event) action sequences, and seamless idle loops during player decision windows. Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with the game director, cinematographer (DOP), and VFX team to align with spatial framing, UI placement margins, and visual effects parameters, ensuring footage meets engine integration standards. Pre-Production Preparation: Attend table reads, fitting sessions, and rehearsal runs for branching storylines to build performance synergy with co-actors and the director.
Requirements
Professional Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent formal training in Acting/Performing Arts, with 2+ years of lead acting experience in feature films, TV series, theater, or major commercial campaigns (TVCs). Screen Presence & Green Screen Acting: Excellent camera presence and micro-expression control. Strong imaginative acting skills and spatial awareness required for extensive Green Screen and Virtual Production setups. Rapid Emotional Switching & Flexibility: Outstanding emotional range and adaptability to handle FMV-specific multi-branch shooting (e.g., executing success, failure, and obsessed outcomes for the same scenario in quick succession). Vocal & Physical Technique: Solid vocal control and clear articulation (original voice dubbing experience preferred); strong physical coordination to work with stunt/action coordinators for dramatic conflicts or basic action sequences. Professionalism & Stress Tolerance: Strong collaborative spirit, capable of adapting to a high-intensity shooting schedule, with a passion for interactive gaming as an emerging narrative medium.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior acting experience in released FMV games, interactive series, or VR narrative projects. Specialized skills tailored to genre work (e.g., crime/mystery action, martial arts, tactical firearm handling, dance, or musical instruments). Multilingual proficiency (e.g., fluent English or second language) capable of bilingual dialogue delivery. Gamer mindset with a solid understanding of FMV games (e.g., The Invisible Guardian, Detroit: Become Human, Late Shift) and interactive mechanics.
